De-Phazz “In a Rudie Mood”

“In a Rudie Mood” is yet another example of the diversity and extensive musical range of the De-Phazz family.

Leading the way is co-producer and drummer Oli Rubow, who—together with Eben Jones and Emily Zils (Eez)—offers the next generation a platform to try their hand at music and gain experience in a playful way. The same goes for Jona Heckmann and Alex Weis, who work their magic in the De-Phazz kitchen with all kinds of flavor-enhancing spices. You will meet also old companions like Sandie Wollasch, Joe Kraus, Ulf Kleiner, Marcus Bartelt and Bernd Windisch who represents a long-standing connection into a diverse musical cosmos. Andrew Murphy brought a relaxed dub version and Oliver Leicht (Frankfurt Radio Big Band) brought things together that don’t necessarily belong together!

Whether it’s swing jazz, rock ’n’ roll, or “Rude German Sampling”—everything is built on a foundation of reggae rhythms with a dash of dub and ska and of course relaxed vibes!
