De-Phazz und Freunde – „Unsere Welt“

They are the secret rulers of the jazz lounge – now they are conquering the children’s rooms at home: The Heidelberg-based music project De-Phazz has launched a new label for good children’s entertainment, “PhazzKidzz”, and presents its first CD, “Unsere Welt”, which has what it takes to become a nursery classic right from the start.

Since 1997, the music collective around producer Pit Baumgartner has perfected its epochal style mix of Latin, jazz, dub and soul and strung together a string of pearls of exquisite releases, including the recently released Christmas album “Music to unpack your Christmas present”. With “Unsere Welt” (Our World), De-Phazz and friends have now wrapped up the perfect present for the little ones: a large collection of subtle songs, lyrically appropriate and witty, musically perfectly produced. In addition, there are short poems and stories, carefully underlaid with background noises and arranged into loving radio play miniatures.
